Nosgoth, dark and crumbling from corruption
Insanity and plague spread, disrupting equilibrium
The Pillars crack and wilt with each passing night
Hope seems to vanish as the population fights for survival
The land’s protectors long since burned and broken
The mother of Balance slain without their shield
Her beloved, stricken with grief, tainted all in the Circle
Driving the nation into this great darkness
An aristocrat killed and revived as the undead’s strongest race
Seeks a cure for this demonic affliction
Thrust upon him is the task of clearing the poisoned well
An expedition of chaos was his destiny
His battle style merciless, bringing suffering to the conquered
Feasting on the blood of the fools who cross his path
Imposed with an existential dilemma in this rampage
To return to humanity, or rule as a god?
Trekking through the blackened lands, felling all the Circle’s converts
Wielding now the ancient blade, spoken of just in legends
To see his mission to the end, the rules of time itself were broken
Traveling back in history, ending calamity before its inception
A paradox Kain did invoke, the answer to his question found
To rule Nosgoth with vampiric might was his true purpose in undeath
Atop his horrid throne, sipping on the blood of those defeated
Forming the infernal legion, constructing an immortal legacy
Humanity was left a minor ripple in his wake
The spectral empire upheld with integrity
The skies ashen and the sun darkened by uncaring fog
The balance restored in a perfect, new way, enveloped in unyielding cold

From a Hollow Grave

I walked alone, fulfilling the wills of my own
A one man, dead-eyed slaughterhouse
I saw much bloodshed in my travels
But couldn’t stand to see the woman burn
She became my love and let me enter the cult
A place where my skills were indispensable
Despite our being named the Chosen, we were thrown away
The master leaving us to die
I LIVE AGAIN!
No more a slave to the Cabal, I rise from this hollow grave
My former predators I’ve marked as my prey
I’ll tame the hellhound, crush the spider queen, exterminate the gargoyles,
And exact our vengeance on the ultimate deceiver
My fury reigning, the fire raining, the cult shall be dissolved
Fading into endless blackness as their luminary is quashed
My bloodthirst only quenched when I hear his dying breath
And my consorts’ souls are rightfully laid to rest

Nachtstück im Mondlich

Generations ago, a throng of heroes laid waste
To the dark lord bent on domination
The fairest of the saviors carried the blood of the slain
Cursed at birth, now damned by his triumph
Perceiving his actions with disgrace
He committed himself to slumber
Extinguishing his power in exchange for peace of mind
The world, however, would not see such peace
For in the centuries he slept, his predecessor would return
Leaving just the holy clan to fend alone
The living representative did so valiantly
Certain that the demon would never rise again
The solitude was shattered in a meager five years
And the legendary sect was left abandoned
The doomed son’s rest was disturbed
His purpose rekindled, his strength reignited
The devil castle resurrected, blacker than the past
An evil omen that would swallow the land whole
A vampiric terror far more gruesome than those before
Only he could bring it to an end
Forced to roam the halls of the massive structure
Hunting his own flesh and blood
He hoped to find his unknown ally
But only found countless adversities
He overcame the peons that were his foes
The fiends no match for the dark descendant
The lord of flies and the Demon Realm’s king fell by his hand
Even Death himself would writhe
The depths of the castle would reveal the secret, a force before unseen
The dark priest, a ventriloquist pulling the traitor’s strings
The man’s mind restored, now lending his strength like in old times
A band of vampire killers stands tall to cut this evil bind
The illusion broken, he made the final confrontation
The warlock’s clutch was shattered with ease
And the devil received a fatal lullaby
Ensuring tranquility for several hundred years
Malevolence conquered, the clan would extend with vigor
Emboldened by one that most would fear
A guilt-ridden soul driven to find redemption
Twice the unlikely hero, he became the wind
